Updated Proof of Funds:
On May 2, IRCC updated that the amount of money that Express Entry applicants must have access to in Canada has changed.
The Express Entry candidates must show some proof of funds to demonstrate that they have enough money to survive in the country.
The candidates who have applied from CEC stream are not required to show any proof of funds because they are already authorized to work in Canada & have a valid Job Offer.
Candidates need to update their profiles to show that they still have the enough funds to settle there, in order to stay eligible for the Express Entry.
The proof of funds are updated by the IRCC every year. It is based on the 50% of the low-income cut-off totals and varies depending on how many people a candidate must be able to support.
