Invitations for French Speakers:

Among the newly added categories for Express Entry draws, French Speaking ability is the only category which do not require work experience as the major selecting criteria.

The immigration minister of Canada has been making efforts to promote the French ability outside of Quebec. Canada aims to support the economin growth of the country through Francophone immigration outside Quebec by prioritizing the invitations for French speaking candidates.

According to the Immigration Levels Plan 2023-25, Canada is planning to admit upto 82,880 candidates through the Express Entry by the end of the year. The target will be raised to 114,000 by the end of the year 2025. The category-based draws will help the country to meet the targets of urgent skills & labour gaps in Canada’s workforce.
