Manitoba PNP: 393 New Applications Invited

Manitoba held a new round of invitations under three PNP’s, inviting 393 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

The Express Entry candidates got 73 invitations among the total.

The candidates invited in the latest MPNP draw are only eligible to receive the nomination when their IRCC profile is valid at the time of their application assessed by the province.

Selected candidates had indicated-

  • they were working in a regulated occupation,
  • were fully licensed to work in Manitoba.

The applications of those candidates will be rejected who are not working in a regulated occupation and fail to provide valid proof of completing all licensing steps for being employed in Manitoba.

About Manitoba Immigration Programs:

Skilled Workers Stream

This stream selects the candidates based on the needs of the Manitoba employers. The internationally trained and experienced workers who have the capability to work in the local labor market are nominated to receive Canadian PR under this stream.

There are two pathways to enter through this stream:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • Skilled Workers Overseas

International Education Stream

This stream provides students graduating in Manitoba, meeting the needs of industry pathways to the nomination.

There are three pathways to enter through this stream:

  • Career Employment Pathway
  • Graduate Internship Pathway
  • International Student Entrepreneur Pilot

Overseas candidates have to demonstrate their connections with the province through previous experience there, close family ties, or an invitation from one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.

Candidates having a full-time job offer from the province employer will receive the invitation under Skilled Workers in the Manitoba category.

Manitoba graduates will receive their application under International Education Stream, & they have to demonstrate their in-demand skills.

The candidate need not live in Manitoba during the application process.

About Express Entry Process:

It is an application management system that manages applications for the economic immigration programs of CanadaCanadia Experience ClassFederal Skilled Worker Program, & the Federal Skilled Trades Program are the three programs that use Express Entry. PNP candidates in the Express Entry have already qualified for one of these programs.

Express Entry uses CRS, Comprehensive Ranking System which is a points-based system used to rank the profiles of the candidates. The top-scoring candidates receive an ITA and then they can apply for PR through regular Express Entry draws.

PNP candidates automatically earn 600 points in their score for CRS, Comprehensive Ranking System so they have good chances of getting an Invitation To Apply (ITA) for PR via Express Entry.
