On January 27, Ontario PNP held another draw for Express Entry candidates under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.
It has issued a total of 773 invitations under the targeted occupations.
To be eligible, candidates need to have a profile in Express Entry Pool with a CRS score between 455 & 600. All the Express Entry candidates who had applied received an automatic 600 points by holding a nomination from PNP.
The candidates need to have at least one year of experience in the following targeted occupations:

| NOC 0125 | Other business services managers |

| NOC 0601 | Corporate sales managers |
| NOC 0631 | Restaurant and foodservice managers |
| NOC 0711 | Construction managers |
| NOC 0731 | Managers in transportation |
| NOC 0911 | Manufacturing managers |
| NOC 1121 | Human resources professionals |
| NOC 1122 | Professional occupations in business management consulting |
| NOC 2161 | Mathematicians, statisticians, and actuaries |
| NOC 3012 | Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses |
| NOC 3211 | Medical laboratory technologists |
| NOC 3231 | Opticians |
| NOC 3233 | Licensed practical nurses |
About Ontario PNP:
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. It invites foreign workers, international students, and others with the right skills, experience, and education to apply to the OINP for permanent residence.
There are three ways to qualify for OINP nomination:
- Employer job offer category: for workers who already have a permanent job offer from an Ontario employer.
- Human capital category: for workers who have valuable work experience, education, language skills, and a profile in Canada’s Express Entry system; or for graduate students.
- Business category: for entrepreneurs looking to start a new or buy an existing business in Ontario.
About Express Entry Process:
It is an application management system that manages applications for the economic immigration programs of Canada. Canadia Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, & the Federal Skilled Trades Program are the three programs that use Express Entry. PNP candidates in the Express Entry have already qualified for one of these programs.
Express Entry uses CRS, Comprehensive Ranking System which is a points-based system used to rank the profiles of the candidates. The top-scoring candidates receive an ITA and then they can apply for PR through regular Express Entry draws.
PNP candidates automatically earn 600 points in their score for CRS, Comprehensive Ranking System so they have good chances of getting an Invitation To Apply (ITA) for PR via Express Entry.
