Australia skilled nominated visa subclass 190

With this visa, you are permitted to

• reside in Australia permanently,
• engage in work and study in Australia,
• register in Australia's public health care system, Medicare,
• sponsor your relatives to migrate to Australia,
• travel to and from Australia for a duration of 5 years,

and, if eligible, attain Australian citizenship.

Newly arrived residents may need to wait before they can access certain Australian Government payments and benefits.

Duration of Stay

This visa is permanent, allowing you to remain in Australia indefinitely. It includes a travel component that expires 5 years from the date the visa is granted.

You achieve permanent residency on the day the visa is granted.

For the purposes of citizenship, your permanent residency commences on the day: we grant the visa, if you are present in Australia,

or when you enter Australia on this visa, if you are outside the country.

Include Family

You may include members of your family unit in your application. You can: include them at the time of lodging your visa application, or add them after submission but before a decision is made on your visa.

Family members applying for the visa must satisfy our health and character requirements. Family members not accompanying you to Australia may also need to fulfill our health and character criteria.

If your partner or dependent children are not included in this application, please provide us with the reason to assist in processing your visa.

Cost

• The visa fee is AUD4,770.00 for the primary applicant
• There is an additional charge for each family member applying for the visa alongside you.
• To determine the total cost of your visa, utilize the Visa Pricing Estimator.
• You may incur an extra charge for any applicant aged 18 years or older who does not possess functional English. This fee is referred to as the second instalment and should only be paid when requested. We will only request this charge if we intend to grant the visa.
• The second instalment fee for family members is AUD4,885.
• The Visa Pricing Estimator does not account for the second instalment or other expenses. You may also need to cover additional costs for health examinations and police certificates.
