The International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream is designed for recent graduates from universities and colleges in Nova Scotia who have either started or purchased a business in the province and have operated it for a minimum of one year. If an applicant fulfills these criteria and plans to establish permanent residency in Nova Scotia, they may be eligible for a provincial nomination through this stream.
The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream is aimed at Express Entry candidates who possess work experience in positions that are in extremely high demand within the province. As of August 2018, this stream is exclusively accepting applications from individuals with experience as Early Childhood Educators and Assistants (NOC 4214).
The Occupations In Demand stream is focused on workers who have a job offer from an employer in Nova Scotia in a field that is currently in demand. At present, the only occupations that qualify for this program include NOC 3413 (nurses aides, orderlies, and patient service associates), NOC 7511 (transport truck drivers), NOC 7521 (heavy equipment operators, excluding crane operators), and NOC 7611 (construction trades helpers and laborers).
