  • ICT Major: If you have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology/ Computer Science and your occupation is 100% relevant to education, in that case ACS calls it an ICT Major. In that case, you must show a minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience in the last 10 years or 4 years of experience anytime in the past. As your education & experience is 100% relevant, therefore ACS will deduct 2 years from your entire year of experience.
  • ICT Minor: If you have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher which is not closely related to your IT occupation, then you must show a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience any time in the past. Due to your education being 50% relevant to your experience, that’s why they deduct 4 years of experience.
  • Non-ICT: If your Bachelor’s Degree and higher is not at all relevant to your profile. In that case, ACS will deduct 6 years of your experience.
